Toyota refused to service my tundra trans at 100kz said it didn’t need to be changed. I took it somewhere and had it changed. Frustrating.

had my trans on 2017 Tundra flushed at 55k. They recommended it at 100k but I would rather spend a couple hundred then have the trans go out.

have seen this on mostly ones over 150k miles, that have never been maintained. sadly there is not a service interval from Toyota.

There will be yotas that are outliers, but statistically Toyota is most reliable on average so it’s a safe bet still

Common issue with Toyota transmission. I spent 15 years with them and they had alot of solenoid issues.
