This sweet Border Collie boy puppy was dumped & needs a hero! He is a must save!🥹 This super shy, sweet boy is only about 6 months old and showed up at someone’s house. They couldn’t keep him or find his owners. They said he cannot be around chickens (at least not without training) & played great with smaller dogs & pups. He needs out badly as puppies get sick quickly in the shelter, they don’t have a vet or meds to treat, and shelter is constantly full. He’s at risk as soon as 8/1. They do not give deadlines or warnings. ⚠️DISCLAIMER: I AM A VOLUNTEER. PLEASE DO NOT HARASS SHELTER OR THREATEN THEM, THEY AREN’T TO BLAME. YOU WILL ONLY HURT DOGS IF YOU DO.⚠️ 🙏🏼Need adopters to go in person or local fosters & reputable rescue in DFW / East TX! Shelter doesn’t have a foster program. Supplies provided & expenses are covered by rescues typically. Rescues need funds (pledges) & local fosters in order to save. Kennel 2, No Name, #251176 Intact Male, Border Collie mix 6 months old (guess) Stray 7/26, available 7/29 If you want to adopt out of state (PNW/MW/NE —will need rescue & local temp foster for 3-4 weeks for that to happen) or if you can foster for a rescue in DFW until adoption, please message @TheDogsNeedOurHelp & I’ll connect you with a rescue. Adoption costs more than shelter fee if out of state & can’t go in person.
