![You charge more for bridal makeup, right? Well Halloween makeup is ALSO specialty makeup — with EXTREMELY limited spaces and time slots! So if you charge $250-$350 for bridal makeup [the bride, not bridesmaids] — your Halloween makeup starting point should be $250-$350. 👻 My Halloween rates start at $350 and that’s for the bare minimum look, face only, no prosthetics/pieces — most are $500 and up. Pricing varies on the details and how much skin I’m covering. Normally, I don’t recommend having multiple rates for makeup — but when it’s between a skull face only or the whole chest, arms, hands, and a prosthetic — well that’s a 2+ hr difference and higher skill set. Not everyone can afford my rates — and they won’t be able to afford yours either — and that’s OKAY! 💀 I personally would rather have 2-4 high paying clients over Halloween week than 5-7 people Halloween day, paying $150. I’ve done that and it’s exhausting and you don’t get to enjoy your fave holiday at all. 👿 So when figuring out your Halloween makeup rates — factor in how many people you want to do, the times you want to do them in October, and pick your starting rate.
