Its because of the loss pf sodium when you pee too much, it makess you more thirsty,, whoch makes you drink more, so you pee more and it compounds the problem! water follows Na. your PCTs have pumps to reabsorb Na. Your pituitary affects aquaporins in the collecting ducts.
