Yes! I hit 200 and cried but my friend proceeded to throw me over his shoulder to prove I wasn’t as big as I thought I was. 😭

I have a 3 month old and here are my tips for giving birth for new ans expectant mothers. 1. The way you breath during contractions and when you have to push is different. A hypnobirthing course will help 2. Your mind can be your biggest enemy or asset. Read good birth stories and remember with each contraction and push your one step closer to seeing your baby 3. Gas and air does not remove the pain, but use it to help you breathe through contractions. use it before a contraction starts and after it fully finishes 4. Remember a birthing comb to help with pain transference (squeeze it in your hand during contractions) 5. get your birth partner to press on pressure points in lower back during contractions and get him to do a countdown of your breathing. This helped a million! 6. Dim the lights 7. play music - I loved dramatic violin instrumentals 8. Don’t lie in your back during your contractions, sit on a ball and bounce or stand upright and lean forward, gravity will help with the process. Also, pushing on your back is the most difficult position try other ones like being on your knees leaning forward 9. I hated the epidural, because you couldn’t feel anything which made pushing impossible. Feeling the pain and contractions and responding is critical to a quicker birth. Next time remember the TRANSITION PHASE is temporary and feels like you can’t do it. But, you can! Push through it, or at least get it earlier when you’re 5cm dilated not 9cm! P.s it’s been 3 months and my back still hurts due to the epidural 😭 10. Bring lots of water and crackers, but don’t eat too much as this will make you vomit 11. If you can afford it get a doula #birth #givingbirth #birthtips #epidural #doula
