One of the biggest things I’ve been focusing on is my core. After having my second baby, I noticed changes—not just in how my stomach looked, but in how I digest food, how long I can keep my core engaged, and how connected I feel to that part of my body. Physically, I’ve improved a lot, but I had gotten out of the habit of holding in my core.  I started everything this past Monday with another Pilates class, and that was really the thing that made it click. It showed me just how disconnected I was from engaging my core. That class made me more conscious of keeping my core tight throughout the day—not just during workouts. Now, even when I’m walking or standing around the house, I’m trying to keep that engagement. Not holding my breath or sucking in too hard, but just being aware. Another thing I’ve been doing every day is lymphatic self-massage. It helps a lot with digestion and bloating. I’m someone who bloats easily from random foods or stress, and this has made a huge difference for me. I’ve also been drinking a lot more water. That sounds simple, but staying hydrated helps everything—from digestion to skin elasticity to how flat your stomach looks. I’ve also been doing more sweating—either through sauna sessions or by walking outside. It helps with water retention and inflammation, and I always feel lighter afterward. All of this has made a noticeable difference in just a few days. It’s not extreme.
