My mother has one - they’re fine for small jobs like brand and front yards. Some people can’t afford $400 trimmers lol

English speaking homework! This homework seeks to tackle two main problems people ask me about: 1. How can I practice my speaking? - you really just need to do it! Even if it’s a little bit. Even if it’s by yourself. Something is better than nothing! Imagine you run into an English speaker tomorrow on the street. What would you say? What would you say if you saw me on the street? Be mentally prepared all the time for the possibility of an interaction in English! Even if that means talking to yourself. Bonus if you’re recording yourself and listening later. 2. “I don’t have time to practice” - I totally get being tired with life and not having hours every day to study. That’s understandable! But there’s no way you have NO time. Not even two minutes?? C’mon! Every little bit counts. And personally I notice big differences when I practice for even 5-10 minutes compared to when I don’t! I hear a lot of adult English learners say that they don’t think they can learn as effectively as kids. While it’s true kids have the ability to adapt super well and are able to learn very quickly because their brains are still developing, one big difference between adult and child learners that people don’t talk about enough is the amount of time kids spend repeating and reviewing what they learn! They are in school with homework and their job is to learn! A lot of kids dedicate more time per week studying in class compared to their parents. This isn’t to make you feel bad, rather it’s to point out how much is actually in our control! Dedicate a bit more time, learning as an adult isn’t a lost cause. Try it out and let me know how it goes for you 💖 . . . #learnenglish #englishteacher #practiceenglishspeaking
