@renmakesmusic: Hi Ren Just hit 10,000,000 views on YouTube. I've been incredibly moved reading comments from people all over the world about what it means to them. A little backstory for people who dont know it... for a third of my life I was disabled with an autoimmune condition and brain damage, there would sometimes be months on end I would be trapped in bed while my body was on pain, or so tired I could barley stand. I had two stem cell transplants in 2016 which enabled me to actually feel like a normal human for thr firet time in years. For years after the transplants I decided to just push my past in a little box because it was too difficult to identify with a decade of my life where I missed out on all the things I wanted to do. i missed birthdays, new years, friends getting married, growing up. When i got alot better I'd never talk about it with friends, and I just wanted to pretend I was normal. The truth is I still suffered with various mental and physical health problems but i didnt want that to limit me, so i put eveything i had into music. Making this song was part of me accepting I am who I am. I wanted to create an honest piece about what the voices in my head sound like, and the response has been massively overwhelming. By not hiding the parts of my self i have often felt ashamed or it's opened many doors that have brought my dreams and ambitions to life. I still visit doctors nearly every day, and I still am on a journey trying to reclaim my health, but I'm able to say I'm doing what I love, and that means so much to me.
