@renz.sadiwa: Why I think Zoom Lenses are great for beginners👇🏼 If there was one lens that I always recommend for beginner content creators it’s always going to be a 24-70 lens. Zoom lenses are a great choice for beginners because it allows you to cover a range of distances without having to carry extra lenses. When I first started making content the only lens I used was the Tamron 28-75 f/2.8 lens. This lens was able to cover everything from product photography, landscapes, and portraits. It’s also budget friendly compared to Sony glass. Having said that I love using the new 24-70 GM II from Sony. It’s never left my camera and I actually prefer it over Prime lenses in certain situations. Here are some tips on what lenses you should buy depending on what area you are covering Portraits- 35, 50 or 85mm prime lenses Wildlife- 150-400mm zoom Landscapes- 28-100mm constant aperture zoom Astrophotography- wide-angle prime lens Weddings- 28-200mm zoom lens Macro- 30 or 100 prime lens with macro functionality What do you guys think? Do you prefer Prime lenses or Zoom lenses? #videography #cinematic #cinematography #colorgrading #videography #sonyalpha #sony #promist #blackmist #premierpro #davinciresolve #sony #sonya7iv #sonyfx3 #sonya7siii
