When I started out my fitness journey, I thought I need to “workout everyday or it was worthless”,   Or even restrict all my favorite foods I’d enjoy with the family like burgers, lasagna, or even ice cream.  That all just made me feel like failure, set me up to fall off track because I couldn’t ever say no to tacos, and not seeing any weight loss or strength building.  No one ever told me these three things… I had to learn the hard way, but you don’t have to…  Because imma just tell you 👇🏼 Discipline: the consistent practice of healthy habits and routines, even when it’s challenging or imperfect.  Try shifting to, “It’s better to do some exercise regularly than none at all.” +  Focus: setting clear goals and maintaining attention on them despite distractions.  Try break down your goals into smaller, manageable steps and celebrate incremental progress. + Action: taking concrete steps towards your goals and executing your plans.  Try rewarding yourself for taking any positive action, no matter how small, in order to build moments and shift out of perfectionism.  = Success: combining discipline, focus, and action. Discipline keeps you consistent, focus ensures you’re on the right track, and action turns plans into reality. If you’re caught up in the “all or nothing” approach -  You’re likely to do the opposite: procrastinate, avoid, stand still, be distracted, disconnect, feel guilty, beat yourself up…  And ultimately not get to where you want to go.  ▫️ It’s not about large leaps▫️It’s the small steps that turn into a yard, a mile, a 5k, a marathon▫️ 👇🏼 Drop in the comments what action item you can take today, in order to align yourself back in with your goals?
