@kingsplaceldn: Kings Place was literally blessed with a visit from the Tashi Lhunpo Monks of Tibet who performed a special ceremony on the rooftop, playing their traditional long horns and singing auspicious chants. This is normally performed on the rooftop of their monastery in India, where they reside in exile from their native Tibet, to alert the community that an important event is to take place. We look forward to their return on Wed 24 May when they join us for a dramatic presentation of sacred music, dances, and prayers, with traditional costumes and ceremonial masks in Hall One 🙏Part of Songlines Encounters Festival at Kings Place.
