Go straight to all the major credit reporting agencies and dispute the balance. Then they will have to prove you made charges to the credit bureau.

Synchrony Bank needs to be sued now. They are running credit without people’s permission closing accounts in good standing.

Go directly through their online website. Do not respond to emails or text messages. Those are scams.
