I’ve found Edelbrock carbs fine on tamer engines but get overwhelmed without tuning on more serious power plants.

Had a 66 elcamino with a 355 in it, put a brand new Holley 750 on it and it ran like shit, but an edelbrock on it and it purred like a kitten

if you know how to tune them with metering rod kit they not bad but it's doggy right when you hit throttle especially if that's a 340
