Wes Anderson is a master of these shots. Overhead shots aren’t as easy to capture however and require special equipment like a C-Stand. Here are some tips to help you achieve this shot 📸 - Use sand bags as counterweight for your C-stand to help prevent any accidents that may occur - Turn on grid display in your camera settings to ensure that your composition is perfectly aligned. - A good old fashion level is your best friend to make sure your camera is straight - Use a wide angle lens (for this specific shot I used a 20mm lens) to get more in frame Whether you’re shooting a short film or a cooking video, overhead shots are a nice way to bring your viewer in.
