Anna’s Ice cream Pie inspired by the trend we all know, so here's my contribution,Enjoy! Happy Summer! Prep:5 minutes Total: 20 minutes (BUT there's a 1hr Chilling time) Ingredients: 15-16 Gramcracker crumbs (sheets),crushed (382g) 1/4c Cocoa powder (omit if using chocolate crackers) 1/4c granulated sugar 1 stick unsalted butter, melted 1/2c Nutella, or nut butter of sorts, fudge, you get it. ½ store bought cake, cut into bite size pieces ( I used inspo from my cherry surprise recipe in my book) this is also your chance to add caramel or fudge or whatever the vibe is, get creative! 2 pints (946g) Pistachio ice cream (or w/e u/ur friend are feeling) 12-14 fresh strawberries, sliced Tips: chill the pie in between adding ingredients, especially if you're not prepping ahead of time, and you can use whatever type of “butter” for the seal but a chilled crust will pull up less crumbs. To a large bowl, add the graham cracker crumbs, cocoa powder (if not using chocolate already) sugar and whisk until its all the same color and incorporated, add the melted butter it will start to clump up, this will take about 3-5 minutes ,to mix. This would be insane with TJ’s cake. To a spring form pan, add the buttery crumbs and press into the edges, in a bowl-ish shape. Chill the crust in the freezer for 10 minutes. Remove from the freezer add the nutella to work as a sealant for the potentially (at one point when you want to eat it) melty ice cream. Chill in the freezer for 10 more minutes, but pull out the ice cream to soften slightly. Then pull out the crust, add the first pint, with a rubber spatula or offset spatula, add the cake layer followed by the remaining ice cream. Pop it in the freezer for 20 minutes. At this point you can have fresh fruit ready to top, or you can freeze the fruit on top, Depending on when you plan to eat it. Top with some more nut butter or fudge or cookies instead of fresh fruit, Cut, serve and store in a freezer, promise, it wont last long! Enjoy! #icecreampie #dessert #Summer #chocolate #pistachio
