Stop Meal Planning Chaos✋🏻⛔️ Here’s how we use our @skylightcalendar to plan meals in minutes and keep the whole family on the same page 👇 🔴Step 1: Check your freezer, fridge + pantry. My husband usually does this part. He texts me what we already have on hand so we save money + reduce waste. 🔴Step 2: Build the plan in Skylight. This is where the magic happens. You can do it two ways:  1️⃣ Auto-plan the week with Sidekick. Perfect if you want a full plan + grocery list built around the ingredients you already have (or if you’re starting with nothing and need a whole plan mapped).  2️⃣ Go day-by-day. This is my favorite when I know what I want on a specific day (like “Thursday = butternut squash soup!”). Skylight plugs it in with the recipe and builds around it. 🔴Step 3: Grocery split. Once the plan is set, I put meals into Skylight + my husband takes over groceries. He checks our shared list and orders delivery. (Mental load split = marriage win 🙌). 🔴Step 4: Cook & Eat. Dad cooks straight from the Skylight recipe screen while the kids check the chore chart + feel like they’re part of the process. I used to print meal plans and tape them to the fridge—but now everything’s digital, recipes included. So much easier. ➡️ Some weeks I need the whole week mapped. Some days I just need one recipe figured out. Either way, Skylight keeps us sane.
