possibly because of the hair removal laser there had been imbalance of the usual type of bacteria causing the unusual smell.

Mine usually goes back to its usual no-BO state a week or so after my laser appointment, but i wash with betadine before soap and it helps a lot haha

For me the smell start two-three days after the session. Both in the armpits and (;) I use a salicylic acid face wash and it goes away in a few days.
