Decided to challenge myself and join the Dutch TV show Special Forces VIPS. And WON 😤😭🔥🪖🫡🫱🏼‍🫲🏽🏆 What an unbelievably beautiful, emotional, and intense journey this has been. I’m incredibly proud of what I accomplished on Special Forces VIPS and deeply grateful for the lessons I’ve learned along the way. One of the most important ones was receiving feedback and a new perspective from another leader. It showed me that there isn’t just one way to lead. I’m super passionate about everything I do, but I’ve realized that not everything needs to be said (pun intended) and sometimes leading by example is enough. It also means giving others the space to discover and learn for themselves. That there are more ways that lead to a solution...At the same time, it felt powerful to see that the mindset I’ve applied for over 20 years in my life and career still carries me forward, no matter the challenge ahead. The reason I joined this show in the first place was because it scared me (yeah I know, crazy right?). I really wanted to see if I could still “switch on” that same drive/switch in my mind I had when I first started dancing. It felt like the perfect opportunity to grow, to step out of my comfort zone, and to see if I still had it. I’ll always be someone who wants to help, to stay hungry, to keep learning, and to see the people around me win. That’s who I am. But I also learned that showing emotion or vulnerability doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human, it makes you real. This experience opened a new door for me, but also for all of you to get to know me on a deeper level. A beautiful reminder of what mindset and leadership truly mean. Perhaps it’s time to share that story further in the hope of inspiring others. I’m beyond thankful for all the kind, honest, and heartfelt messages from friends, family, and even people I’ve never met who still connected with me and my story. Nothing but love ❤️🙏🏽 And of course a big shoutout to @racheljohn my teammate in this wild journey and fellow winner of this season. What an absolute warrior she is 💪🏼🪖🔥 WHAT’S NEXT!? 😤🔥
