@drethegk: SAVE MORE 1V1s LIKE A PRO • Football is a game of deception. Who can outsmart the other is often the winner. When it comes to 1v1s, this is a technique I use sometimes when the 1v1 is central. • Standing a half step to one side to make one side of the goal appear larger for when the striker picks his head up. Once he puts he head down we can begin to prepare a dive to that side. Timing is key. If you prepare too early with your dive you may give away your trap. • Keep your eyes on the ball and dive low. Have your top hand ready to stick out too. Force him to shoot high and he will have a high chance of hitting it over the crossbar.
