I’ve liked sending them semi finished drawings? Then condense down to one. I give them choices during the story board phase to get a design direction.

I don’t think there’s a hard and fast rule for this. I play it by ear - if the brief is clear and you nail it in one, present one.

I usually show 3 but have shown up to 6. I also specify that logos not chosen are my property in case I can repurpose any parts.

My best process an initial bunch of rough digital sketch concepts I like in B&W. That helps pick a overall direction and reduces revisions.

One logo concept is the way to go!!! even after doing 3 or 4 I find the clients always come back to the first concept I presented.

the more concepts i add the less effort i put in them and the lower the resault gets, it also confuses the client, so i put all my effort into one..
