1. Natty or not? If it wasn’t already apparent, I was enhanced back when I was Hugene. I was winning national IFBB/NABBA bodybuilding competitions. I don’t say that out of arrogance, just to be clear and transparent - If that’s your goal, you’re probably *not* going to achieve that naturally. I would never claim to be “100% natural” now, despite being completely off any enhancement since then. I don't use TRT either. 2. Why did I stop? I once had aspirations of being a pro bodybuilder, but the further I got into the sport, the less I enjoyed it. I enjoy teaching, coaching and connecting with others, and bodybuilding was interfering with that at a significant turning point in my life and career. Since my focus changed, enhancement no longer made any sense. 3. How has my training changed since then? Surprisingly little. From a hypertrophy and strength training standpoint it’s very similar. You can see my recent vlogs on here and compare it to older videos if you’re curious. The major significant change to my training is the addition of more cardio and athletic work on the side for some variety. If y’all are super interested, I’ll do a deep dive review on my past training from 10+ years ago!
