@artofbrit: You need two things to transform any house into a home: time and money. I’m truly grateful we’ve had both. It’s so crazy how I had no idea what our first home together would ultimately look like when we got our keys. I didn’t come in with any preconceived ideas of what I wanted, I simply let it flow. It’s definitely a longer process, but the rewards are worth it and I’m so happy with the little home we’ve created and I can’t wait for the opportunity to do this all over again. By no means is this bedroom finished because there’s a whole blank wall in-front of the bed we need to source a dresser for but until then, have a look! Our home will never be “finalized”, as I’m always going to be changing something. There’s no such thing as perfection when you see the world through my eyes because there’s always room to grow and god I love a good overhaul.
