Damp hair, curl away from your face, tie a scarf around to keep them in place. I’ve also used a blow dryer on them right before I take them out.

This is what my mom put on my hair in elementary in the early 2000s. Wet hair, suuuuper tight, slept with a plastic bag tied over my head or scarf 😅

They are better with damp hair and a little wax or hair spray etc with them but hardes part is rolling them right. Look on YouTube for a tutorial

Those are the only ones that work on my hair, using papers helps also putting a scarf on your head to keep the curlers in

I would try some more uniform sections and damp hair! I would also try to curl the pieces near the front away from your face rather than towards!

Do thinner pieces and bend the curler tighter try having damp hair so they will go on the curler better and spray them with hairspray at the end!🥰

They work really well if you add mousse to the strand of hair before wrapping it up a little not so it’s drenched. Good luck!
