@adamjamesproud: The people who knew you back then, probably don't know you now. Old friends, old teachers... They remember you how you were. That's the lens they see you through. And that's ok. I was weird, annoying and had the strangest behaviours when I was younger. You might even relate to that. But inside of everyone's heads is a different version of you. You don't need to convince anyone that you've changed or that they have the wrong idea of you, because you should be more focused on building up your future than trying to correct people's opinions of you. Falling into that trap is how you become a people pleaser with low self esteem.
