I would do a ton of reviews. Also as long as you only speak the truth on what happens with your rental he can not sure you. I'm not a lawyer.

This exact same things happened to me with Airbnb. A guy entered my place whilst I was in bed (amongst other things) and it took them 3 days to sort

I know when I had an issue with a VRBO property they did book us a hotel and refunded the booking, and that was without social media

I’m so glad Verbo have good CS. I was stuck in LA where @airbnb promised me a refund. I found a hotel 3x the amount and then they refused the refund

Why don’t you buy a sim only card, save you lots of money whilst you are in the UK. Can cancel anytime. Giff gaff is good. Save you lots of money.
