@the_boujee.foodie: Pork Belly, wilted witlof, celeriac and sweet pommes purée. For when something is broken (like my plate) you can either see the beauty in it, or abandon it. In this instance there is still much life left even after being broken and much of the same can be said about life in general. So here’s to celebrating the peaks and troughs of life and to say that no matter how broken anything is, it is fixable, it still has value and sometimes it is even more beautiful than you initially thought. I serve here a beautiful cut of pork belly just to prove that the food does not taste any less delicious just because it came on a broken plate. The illusion lies in the simple notion that sometimes cracks and scars aren’t so apparent in the initial view but also that we all have that.
