About the verses: Allah says that they (the people at the time of prophet as Jews and Christian's) say, that no one will enter Jannah or heaven except a Jew or Christian. That is but their wishful thoughts nothing beyond it. He tells the prophet pbuh to say to them to produce their proof, if they are indeed truthful. He says that, but yes, in fact the ones who submit himself in Islam to Allah and does good deeds and be righteous, he/she will have their reward with Allah, the most high.
