What is it? It’s 75 days of following a strict set of rules, but to make it sustainable and to make it enjoyable, I’m doing my own version of it! I first did 75 hard during COVID in high school and I loved it!!! I loved setting goals for myself and meeting them, and I felt great as the time went on. It helped me to start some of the habits I still use now. For my version, my goals are 🤍 Start my day outside. I want to be getting up just a little earlier to go outside on a walk, plan my day in a notebook, drink some water, etc. 🤍 Weight lift 4-5 times a week. Towards the end of college, it was so easy to miss workouts for studying, research, etc., but in recent months, I have realized that I really do have time for everything I make time for. I have never regretted working out based on how I feel afterwards, so sticking to this will be so important for me. I am thinking 2-3 lower body workouts a week and 2 upper body. 🤍 More reading! Something about me is I love scientific research, but I also sometimes get bored walking on a treadmill. I have this great plan to read 4 studies a week during the 15-30 mins I walk on the treadmill after my workouts. 🤍 Try a new recipe each week. I love to cook, but I want to explore new cuisines from different cultures and try variations of the foods I love. Please lmk if you have good recommendations. I also love tomatoes so I will be searching for new ways to eat them. 🤍 Changing my night routine. I sometimes get stuck in the trap of scrolling, checking emails, overly stressing about what I need to do the next day right before bed. I want the hour before bed to be spent being on the phone with those important in my life :) I am happy with this and happy that it can follow me after the 75 days. I will be posting updates at least every three days.
