the way I was tought to cook rice was if you use a pot instead of a rice cooker get 1 cup of rice and get 2 cups of water basically you double you're water for the amount of rice so 2 cups of rice 4-

So I found out not long ago that you only wash the rice for a non sticky kind of rice. If you want sticky rice you don’t wash it.
