we had goldfish in our salk tank for the longest time at my house, they thrived and grew huge and were absolutely healthy even in murky water but then our house burnt😅

to avoid the over fill issue. drill a hole close the top and put mesh over it. that way it acts as a overflow releif letting excess water escape with out it going over top and the mesh keeps the fish in the tub.

those fish don't eat alge that's maybe why they died... also fish need a water flow so bacteria dosent build up but it'd a cool idea

you need an plecostomus they are algae eaters They will get it clean in no time plus they’re quite hardy and tuff
