I’m fixing one now the starter spins and makes noise, but doesn’t spend the engine or engage. Do you think it’s the starter gear has power? It’s not the solenoid.

What carbs you use? Do the cheaper Chinese stuff work or stick with oem? Oem for my Cub Cadet is 166, cheaper Chinese is 30. Kinda hard to believe the 30 dollar one is any good.
