@akribisleather: Interior door install. Nothing overly special here but a couple little things that may help if you’re new to it. 1) Screwing some material to the out swing side, half way down the jam keeps it flush to the finished surface and stops you having to fight the door from falling out of the opening. 2) making a point to NOT shims behind the top hinge is a good idea to allow for tweets and adjustments down the road as things may settle and relax. (FYI this is a solid core door so I won’t be surprised if there a little movement over time) Being that there clears space behind the top hinge, you can then replace one of the short hinge screws with a longer 3” one and pull things back into place. I know there’s other fasteners some people use and different spots people prefer to hide their screws however, I prefer to centre the screws in the jam and then fill and sand before painting.
