If you live in a council house it’s there job to do this so always best to ask saves money but ofc if u own ur house u have to pay ahah

Some newer windows have a latch in the hinge that doesn’t let you open it all the way. I’d laugh if she has that and hasn’t noticed.

I have them too. I moved the bit attached to the window up to make the gap of the window opening smaller if that makes sense as wire is so long

The catches on the bottom also will allow you to have it open but in a more locked/cracked open position x
