part 3 remove the clips that hold the battery cable that runs across to the other battery behind the radiator.Then shroud slips out in one piece....

You still run into the trouble of not enough room with the rear shroud. You would have to pull both to get the fan clutch out.

I drilled and zip tied an aftermarket electric fan into my factory fan shroud so I can keep the factory coolant overflow tank

Just take out the two 8MM bolts and pull the inner shroud off. Super easy and don’t ruin the inner shroud.
