@theolivetreeblog: OMAHA. Omaha is a really neat city! Typically everyone immediately thinks of their amazing zoo, but tgere is so much more to this town and most of it is free! We parked ($7 for 4 hours) visited the Gene Leahy Mall (not an actual mall - but outdoor wonderland) - slides + parks + green space + water fountains to play in + ducks. From there you can walk .5 miles to the Bob Kerrey Bridge - where you can walk across and be in Iowa and Nebraska at the same time + see OMAR the troll + visit the museum + play on the soon to be finished sand volleyball pits. From there walk back to the mall center and walk over to the downtown district - The Old Market - grab lunch (we chose Mouth of the South soooo good) and visit all the neat shops - our favorite was Imaginarium filled with vintage toys.
