That’s not what happen? Or I think someone told me that the lady would come with her kids and her husband every day and staring into the gorillas eyes and when you stare into a gorilla eyes, it thinks you’re challenging them and the gorilla attacked her

So fun fact about this, the male gorillas in the enclosures like to play this game called reactions, trying to get the most reactions out of the guests that see them, as they are just as excited to see the guests as you are to see them (it’s enrichment). So in this video the silver back is trying to get a reaction to win control of the enclosure and he did but was later moved to an enclosure with a different silver back to prevent further incidents. As for the window, there are about 7 layers of window (I’m approximating it could be less it could be more) it the gorilla only broke 3, the people were safe but valid to be frightened. (Credentials, was in the volunteer program at the Omaha zoo from 6th grade till senior year of high school and learned a lot from zookeepers and employees that worked there for years).
