@askvinh: I learnt from @austinkleon 's book Steal Like An Artist that if you copy from one person, it's plagiarism. But if you copy from many people, it's original. That's how I've developed my career as a keynote speaker and communication teacher, is through learning how to cook a recipe from many different people, and then adding my own unique flavours to it. Don't make the mistake of thinking that to be original it has not have never been done before. The truth is nothing is original as most things have been done before. That's why I like to say that I'm standing on the shoulders of giants! Draw inspiration from the people you admire and learn from them. Over time, this is what helps make you unique.
