3-5 is the old way of thinking when cars leaked and were less efficient. 5 thousand for standard, 7 for blended, and every 10,000 for synthetic.

3-5k oil changes are crazy. Most oils are good for 10-20-30k miles. Get a 20k oil and change it every 10K. all my vehicles have gone to at least 200k

For me when I get an oil change every 5k km they check if I need coolant or filter changes as well

You can do oil every 8k miles or a year if you use good synthetic oil
