My spinal fusion story 💛 Happy 1 year spineiversary to me 😂🙏🏼 My scoliosis was about 44 degrees for the top curve and the bottom curve was about 28 degrees and in the end they progressed to the top curve was about 62 degrees and the bottom curve was about 42 degrees. If you need this surgery, I recommend you get it I know it can be scary but it's life changing. Remember everyone's experiences are different but there's so much support out there for you, you most definitely are not alone and my dms are always open 🫂🫶🏽 I have said since the surgery that my pain is so much better now then compared to before, I still have my moments and I have a bit of nerve damage but I would rather go through that surgery as many times over then live with pain I had before surgery. Thoracic Hyperkyphosis Traction Hyperkyphosis: Thoracic Hyperkyphosis is a severe forward curvature of the spine. The curve measures more than 37 degrees. In addition to causing back pain, kyphosis may cause: Limited physical functions.
