@alexanderjacortes: Fasting for Women: I don’t recommend this at all. Women’s hormones follow an Infradian Cycle, meaning a 1 MONTH cyclic process. There are more multiple hormones at play, hormone “balance” is REAL. A lack of nutrition and increased stress is disruptive to this. Women’s #fertility and overall well being is much more dependent on being well fed at regular intervals. You want to be nourishing the body, not depriving it thinking you’re like a dude. Fasting is not conducive for fertility and energy levels. Women are not men. Men’s hormones follow a 24 hour circadian cycle. This is much more robust and simple. Testosterone release peaks in the morning. Men can go prolonged periods of time without eating and often enjoy the effects of increased cortisol and adrenaline that come with it. If you are a girl needing to lose bodyfat, you should still be following a regular eating schedule (and creating a deficit of course). #Fasting is not a suggested strategy, and definitely not as a lifestyle #fertilityawareness
My mom fasted for 21 days and saw her health do a complete 180 in a good way. Sooooo definitely depends on the person!

He’s half right the only major part is that estrogen LOVES it when you fats but the hormones just before your period hate it (day one of your period is when your hormonal cycle restarts which is 1/5
