My mother suffers from this and it’s really bad. I can’t get her help bc no one can do anything if she doesn’t want it. I miss her so much. It’s like she’s gone but her body’s still here. (1/2)

Everyone who says you can't help them has never heard of a "power of attorney" or "guardianship"? ... Signed, my brother has the same diagnosis.... I thank God for persistence and seeing us thru ... My brother is mellow and medicated .. Love and talk to him every day ... Prayers to you and yours too.

I am in the exact same boat. I feel like I’m mourning the loss of someone who still alive I can’t help. I love my brother so much and he used to be my best friend. He is so abused by so many.

As a mother to someone with severe mental illness, I 100% agree with you. I know my son’s in there, but I’m so afraid I wont ever see him again. 🥺💔

I have Stockholm Syndrome and I get confused sometimes because my live in boyfriend experienced slow delayed signs of mental illness. It ended up with him refusing treatment when I took him to the ER

I also had a brother who was diagnosed. We fought for years to get him institutionalized. Getting him to accept treatment was one of the toughest experience’s our family had.

My heart breaks when I see videos from the caretakers perspective. I suffered from psychosis for years and a time, sometimes not on my meds, sometimes on them while not being on the right ones

I’m so glad I found your video. My brother also has schizophrenia and he is very close to being on the street to go back the hardest thing I’ve ever watched.

I completely agree, my brother has a severe bipolar disorder. I had to advocate so much for him even when he didn’t want to him.

That’s exactly how it feels. And schizophrenia is so tough because you know what they were like before they got sick🥺
