Even if you already can sing naturally you have to practice to maintain the skill. And that goes for different parts of the voice too.

You can definitely train your voice. Almost 10 yrs ago my then boyfriend could hit the notes but his voice wasn’t strong/powerful. Now his voice gets higher and deeper than an average tenor. His voice is soo strong only by singing on a regular basis. No voice coach or anything. Now he’s trying to help me. I could never hit notes. My ear was so bad. Now I can hit notes and my voice is getting better. I don’t have “good” genes. My husbands family (mother and sisters) do sing though.
