The Gibson family was part of Boston’s elite, and between 1859 and 1954, three generations of Gibson family members and dozens of servants lived and worked at 137 Beacon Street. Curated and preserved by a gay man, the house is also a slice of 🏳️‍🌈 history and the legacy of Charles Hammond Gibson, Jr. The Gibson House museum is open to the public year-round by guided tour.
