@_amanda_wilson_: This girl! When it comes to softball, she wears her heart on her sleeve! Everything in that moment is not only about having fun, but trying her best to help her team win! She says “teamwork makes the dream work!” ☺️ With only about 3 or so years of experience with playing softball, this kid blows my mind! She did not start playing T-ball until she was almost 7 years old. Up until that point, she had never even thrown a softball. About two years after playing softball, she decided maybe softball wasn’t for her because she had injured her shoulder and her ankle. She felt softball wasn’t worth the pain and as a 8-9 year old at that time, I would have totally agreed. Two years of healing, and she is back at it stronger than ever! When she is on, she is on! With less than 2 years experience in pitching, she is throwing over 50 mph sometimes and if she’s in the zone no one‘s going to touch her pitch! I’m proud to say she had her 1st shutdown this summer and won a game ball because of it! ☺️ She has even added another three feet to her pitch for middle school ball (as an 11 year old) and she is still striking people out when she gets pissed off enough! 😅 Don’t get me wrong, she does have slumps here and there and far more than she’d like but she never gives up and works even harder. In those slumps is her moment of growth and it makes her better every single time! Our #1 is going places! We are so proud of you, Graceyn!
