Weve done a lot of test plots over the years with 30vs 15 and on high productive ground The 30in wins but on marginal ground 15in wins. Love 15in tho!

Tip back does not mean it did not pollinate well, missing kernels randomly throughout the ear would mean pollination wasn’t very successful

I know it’d be a pain in the butt, but having the 15” at 10%-15% more pop vs the 30’s at your “normal pop” would be interesting.
