@betterbrand: This is how I keep my lungs clear as a smoker. I put some Mullein Elderberry and fresh ginger into a tea. Mullein is awesome at breaking down mucus and flushing things out of your lungs. So, definitely don't skip on that one. Two tablespoons of each per cup then steep for about 10 minutes. So your intestines absorb the compounds in each ingredient and they make it in your bloodstream which gets your lungs.
