@nataniacreates: I am the product of POWERFUL prayer. I know what it’s like be in many situations where I’ve come to the end of myself and fully understand that if God doesn’t turn things around, then it will not be done. I know what it’s like to hit rock bottom. And the ONLY solution is God. I know what it’s like to be in many situations that money cannot fix. That a pastor or a leader cannot fix. That your spouse cannot fix. That your parents or mentors cannot fix. It’s Jesus or it won’t happen. Speaking in tongues cannot cure the diagnosis. A feel good praise break won’t reverse the cancer. Affirmations won’t actually get to the root of the matter and undo the trauma of the body and the soul. And because of life’s experiences, I’ve grown dissatisfied with surface-level church. I want to see exactly what happened in the Bible, blind eyes open, deaf ears open, the supernatural poured out, diagnoses reversed—everything from cover to cover in my life. This may not be your sieste but it is mine. I don’t want to sing about miracles and signs anymore. I want to walk it out. I want it to be second nature. We all can do it. And so it will start with prayer. Consecration. Being transformed. Actually having true power and weight in the spiritual realm that when you speak, heaven responds, angels are deployed and things shift. And I’ve experienced that. There’s prayers I have gone on my knees to pray and by the time I get up I KNOW that I know that it is done and God will move. And I desire for EVERYONE to have the experience. The pity party is over. If you’re a son or daughter of Christ, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead also resides in you. If you don’t wield it, tap into it and sharpen it then you may very well live a life that’s powerless and not even know it. Die without seeing tangible miracles even though you could do it. And I’m not trying to go out like that. So we will pray. That’s the prayer shift. And I cannot wait for us to gather this year.
