Do they use any duoderm on her skin? It’s place on the skin before the NG tube. Helps to protect skin from gettting roughed up from the tube itself.

I struggled with this when my daughter first got on oxygen the best thing we found was the little circle patches and then putting white tape over it

hypafix, definitely suggest for long term. ive had severy nj/ng tube and buttons as well as central lines and hypafix is the best one ive found

duoderm on her skin then tube cover with tegaderm. Also switch where the tape is placed, even tape it on the other cheek.

Ask if they can use a nasal bridle! It looks startling but it’s easy and comfortable!

I’d recommend searching Etsy for the hyperfix tape it’s better and can be cut to the length you need

Have you tried skin barrier wipes? There are no sting ones (I don’t think they’d irritate her eye but that would be my only concern..?)

Tegaderm down as a base and then switch out the mepitac silicone tape as needed (on top of tegaderm).

We used duoderm at the bottom and then stick the nasal cannula stickers and hold the nj tube like that

Not a parent but I am a nurse! Duoderm is wonderful to help with the skin! Duoderm under the tube then tegaderm over the tube and stuck to the duoderm
