My mom did it a lot when she was younger, and stopped when a newlywed couple came to visit and the husbands parachute didn’t deploy while strapped to

RECIPE 👇 We’re turning the viral tofu chocolate mousse into a more ‘balanced’ breakfast idea.. 🤩 I know what you’re thinking 👀 … but trust me when I say these are delicious! (and that is coming from someone who claims she never used to like tofu..) Making this the perfect alternative for:

1️⃣ those who don’t like protein powder but are seeking an additional ‘boost’ (additional to the protein coming from the yoghurt, of course) all whilst keeping it CREAMY! OR 2️⃣ for those wishing to change up their current oats (of course you can customise this recipe your way!) Here’s what you’ll need: Makes ~ 2 pots:* 1 cup fresh strawberries/fruit of choice 1 cup (~100 grams) rolled oats 1/4 cup (~20g) cocoa powder 2 tbsp (~20g) chia seeds/ alt seeds 1 tsp vanilla extract 1-2 tsp honey/maple/alt (+/- more to taste) 2 heaped tbsp (~40g) higher-protein yoghurt of choice Optional - 150g silken tofu (don’t knock it till’ you try it) OR ~15g protein powder of choice 1 cup (~250mL) milk of choice To serve: Additional strawberries, diced 1-2 large squares of chocolate (I used Lindt chocolate as I find this is easy to melt & distribute - i.e. on top) Salt flakes (optional) Method:
1. Prepare - combine all ingredients into a blender cup/similar cylinder container. Blender until a smooth, batter-like texture is achieved. 2.Assemble - optional to place extra diced fruit at the bottom of the serving container, then transfer the mixture into your preferred containers (bowls, jars, or smaller ramekins) and level the surface. 3.Top with melted chocolate and/or a dust with salt flakes (optional) 4.Refrigerate for 3-4 hours or overnight until set. Enjoy! *individual portion sizes will vary #chocolateshell #chocolateoats #blendedoats #overnightoats #oatmeal #easybreakfast #mealprebreakfast
