@livewellbewellpodcast: 🙏Sometimes I can get stuck in telling myself a narrative which isn’t true, and caught up on negative messages and social comparison, which I am sure if you are on social media, you relate too. 🔌Yet, we have the power to step away and rewrite that message of how we see ourselves and build emotional resilience, a pillar that I have worked deeply on and I believe we are never taught, but it is so important to maintaining happiness and health. 👇Here are some things which help me: * Change my environment: Taking a break from social media, going for a walk in nature, or spending time in a calming space can help me clear my head and focus on the positive. * Lean into the things I enjoy: Doing things that I love, like listening to music, dancing, or cooking, helps me connect with myself and feel good. * Question those thoughts of disbelief: When I have negative thoughts, I try to challenge them and ask myself if they are really true. This helps me to see things more realistically and build my self-esteem. 🧱Building emotional resilience through self-care is an ongoing process, but it is worth it. When we take care of ourselves, we are better able to cope with challenges and bounce back from setbacks. So next time you're feeling down, reach for one of these self-care tips and start rewriting your narrative #emotionalresilience
